Hello Venice, I am Oiran, existing World Assembly Delegate and Consiglio member. I remember when Venice was still young. I was ambitious and thought that a new region such as this would need help to rise. Now, Venice has gone far with the effort of the people and the leaders. I use my vote as the World Delegate and position on the Consiglio to create a place in which all can be free and all can feel joy without fear and negative energy. To grow, one must be able to dream. The name “oiran” means “they will hear” in Venice. While reading this message, I wish for you to not only listen but to understand- understand my goals and my logic to bring Venice and her people toward a path that will lead to greatness. As a side note, in the first election, one person decided to publically announce that they would not be voting for me due to my nation’s status as a dictatorship and the low levels of personal and political freedom. A valid point. One day, I thought, “Why am I oppressing my nation? Do I gain joy from taking away power just for my economy to rise?” I am now working to forward political and personal freedom while hoping that my economy will rise, just like Venice. Onward Venice! Oiran

Hey Oiran! Great to see you run!
A question for you (the same I've asked everyone else haha): how have you evaluated my executive appointments so far, and how would you do so going forward?

Hey Oiran! Great to see you run! A question for you (the same I've asked everyone else haha): how have you evaluated my executive appointments so far, and how would you do so going forward? Hi! Okay so about your appointments:
Overall, they’re great! When someone shows interest in a specific position that is available, they have it. It’s a bit messy, to have someone appointed as soon as they show an interest, but it’s a great chance for those who are inexperienced or those that would love to participate to feel part of the Venetian community. In other regions that are much larger, it would be harder to find an opportunity to engage in the activities.
However, if the region continues to grow, there will be more people who wish to have an executive position, and then it won’t be so easy to be a leader in a server where there are so many leaders already.
In the future, I would say that instead of having one officer for every spot, there could be multiple. The hard part of that would be to make sure that everyone would work together smoothly.
Communication is key. If many people want a position, it can be hard to find a job. Elections can be held for a position that many people want. I would suggest that having a nation already in a position of power (on the Consiglio, the Doge, or an appointed official) endorse the nation wanting to be appointed. It would be easier to work with someone known than someone unknown.
